Jimmy's Place - Aruba

The September 2013 T-Shirt of the Month!
Jimmy’s Place Aruba prides itself on the diversity of its patrons and being known on the island as the bar where everyone is welcome.
The owners, Gerard & Maikel (pictured at right), have proudly owned Jimmy’s Place for over 10 years. In 2010, they decided to move Jimmy’s Place into an old island house that was built in 1935. They kept all of the authentic details, making this bar one of the cutest and coziest you will find on the island of Aruba. The island’s local LGBT community, along with out of town visitors, dance the night away with great DJs Thursday through Saturday.
Jimmy’s Place Aruba plays a central part in ALFA (Alternative Lifestyle Federation Aruba). Gerard & Maikel, along with a few other island residents founded this organization, which promotes equal rights and provides sexual education to the islands residents.
Next time your in Aruba stop by Jimmy’s Place and have a few drinks, make some new friends, and relax—you’re on island time now! Until then, visit their website at www.jimmysaruba.com and join their Facebook page.
